If you are a childminder you may want to take note of these policy features:

  • Childminder should be registered with the local authority to qualify for full cover
  • The childminder is allowed up to 3 children in care at any one time in addition to the childminder's own children
  • The option (at extra cost) to extend liability insurance to cover children, parents or guardians whilst on the premises in connection with childminding activities is available.

For Bed & Breakfasts:

  • Up to 6 guests and 3 rooms being used by guests at any one time
  • Guest's belongings whilst they are in the boundaries of the property provided they are not covered under any other insurance policy
  • Loss of earnings if your B&B becomes unfit for paying guests (up to £100 per week for 8 weeks) if resulting from an insured incident such as a fire or flood
  • Occupiers and Personal liability is extended to include guests in relation to your Bed & Breakfast accommodation
